Who we are
Edge Economic Consulting is led by Ynon Gablinger. Ynon specialises in the economic regulation of utility markets, with a career that spans senior and pivotal roles at leading regulatory bodies, including Ofgem, as Head of Benchmarking during RIIO-1, and Ofwat, as Director of Economics in charge of cost assessment during PR19.
Before founding Edge Economic Consulting, Ynon served as a Director at KPMG, where he led projects supporting water and energy companies on cost efficiency and performance benchmarking. Today, Ynon leverages his vast experience and technical expertise to provide value creating, high-quality support to regulated companies, regulators and other interested stakeholders.
Ynon holds a PhD in economics from Columbia University.
